In my artwork, I strive to capture the essence of time. It starts with delicate brushstrokes that often land in unexpected places, leading to a process of correction and layering. This approach is akin to creating music, where harmony is key. However, unlike music, which unfolds during a performance, fine art is typically viewed as a completed work, with the creative process hidden. Through my series "Memories," I explore this hidden aspect, delving into the fundamental longing for one's origins — the hometown, birthplace, and the old, cherished house of childhood. These paintings, devoid of figures, still evoke a strong human presence, deeply felt and acknowledged by those who see them.
